The original intention of this blog was to reflect about computational science topics, like programming languages and other hobbies of mine. Although this is still the main purpose it seems like other things and topics are creeping in. This is the same with writing in German or in English. Even so I really like German much more than English, which may be natural as it is my mother tongue - I will sometimes write in English, maybe just for the heck of it. Don't get me wrong here I'm not writing in English to increase the number of readers. This would negate my assumption that nobody reads this stuff at all. It's just that it sometimes seems to be a natural fit.So starting my first technical reflection with a rant:
Def: Open Source = Publishing huge amount of undocumented, unstructred, horribel and unnecessary complex code do increase the amount of redundant information (aka. entropie) on the web.
I hope I'm not cursed now and haunted by a scene of RMS singing the open source song and hitting his backpack in times with the beat (shiver). Of course this may be a little bit opinionated, but after searching a couple of hours for a simple, well documented tiny scheme implementation - I'm finally giving up for know. Why I was looking for this specific purpose is subject of another post.
